Closing Time

This half year has flown by, and in particular the last two months have passed quickly.

Today was the last school day for the kids.  The long holiday has started, hopefully we will now have some more time for creative projects together.  With the new Babe in the house, my focus has shifted majorly to just parenting and being there for the kids.  I feel a little bit deprived, and need a creative session!  My oldest boy was under the weather yesterday and not well enough for school.  He spend the day at home and since he felt much better late in the morning, it gave us a perfect opportunity to dye some rainbow wool for his planned recorder bag. . . That hour was lovely! I am looking forward to many more creative hours during the two-month school holiday.

Dit half jaar is voorbij gevlogen, en met name de laatste twee maanden gingen snel voorbij.

Vandaag was de laatste schooldag voor de kinderen. De lange vakantie is begonnen, hopelijk hebben we nu wat meer tijd voor creatieve projecten samen. Met de nieuwe Babe in het huis, is mijn focus puur naar het ouderschap en het moeder zijn verschoven.  Ik heb behoefte aan een creatieve sessie! Mijn oudste zoon voelde zich gisteren niet lekker en bleef een dag thuis van school.  Laat op de morgen voelde hij zich een stuk beter en dat gaf ons de gelegenheid om wat regenboog wol te verven voor zijn geplande blokfluit tas. . . Dat uur was heerlijk! Ik kijk ernaar uit om veel meer uren creatief bezig te zijn met de kinderen tijdens de twee maanden schoolvakantie.
