An Igloo in Africa

Class 3 in a Waldorf School always has a building block.  One of the assignments this term is to build a house.  One at home as an individual assignment and one at school as a class project.  Today is the big reveal of the individual projects, so I can finally show a project that we completed last week.

What is more logic than building an igloo in Africa?  Daughter-dear had seen that I had some packaging chips and thought they would be perfect for an igloo.  A great way to recycle as soon as you have figured out which glue to use with those styrofoam and biodegradable packaging chips.

The finishing touch was a snowman, my daughter reasoned that the kids who live in the igloo would certainly do exactly that!
