Creating Memories {part 2}

Creating memories for our family is very important to us.  For each of our children we made clay baby foot and hand prints at the age of 3 months.  This is unfortunately not possible when you are adopting a 18 month old.  However, we also want to create a similar memory for the Babe when she is older.  There are no DIY footprint kits available here in Kenya, so we decided to capture the Babe's prints in another way.  Inspired by our height chart, we decided to capture the Babe's hand and foot prints on a square canvas.  A perfect memory for her later to see her size when she joined our family.

The extra paint drops were not originally planned, but worked out well and how we got them on is going to be a family story, that will be repeated many times in the future.
