Little Fingers Knitting - part 2

My little one caught a fever yesterday and we decided to keep him home from Kindergarten today. His energy levels, however, are up and it seems to have been a 24 hour bug, so we had some time to craft together this morning.  We just finished the horse-rein for his class.  As you can see we incorporated his self knitted cord.

Soon NEXT WEEK I will be posting a tutorial on how to make this simple horse-rein, but for now we are anticipating lots of running fun in his Kindergarten.

  1. This is a lovely idea. I gave my daughters a long finger knitted rope and one of the things they did was to play horse with it putting it behind the neck, crossing at the chest and under the arms. Yours look much more comfortable!!! I'll most definitely borrow your idea. Thanks for sharing.

  6. What a great way of using finger knitting. I think when my children were younger they would have loved to play horse with one of these, too bad I didn't know about them then
