The Jacaranda tree is a beautiful large tree with gorgeous purple blue flowers that grows in subtropical climates (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacaranda_mimosifolia).<br />The seedpods are the parts we have worked with.<br /><br />As for the display tree - it was made by local crafters. It's a baobab tree made out of banana tree leaves.
